     Rainforests
   Rainforests are warm, wet forests with four parts.

Emergent This part has the tops of tall trees. Many birds, butterflies, and other insects live here.
Canopy In this part, you can see many leaves. Birds, spiders, tree frogs, monkeys, and snakes live here.
Understory It's dark, wet, and cool here. There aren't many plants, but there are many snakes, lizards, and jaguars.
Forest floor Many insects and spiders live in this part. Many large animals and people also live here.
